Burns Llama Trailblazers Fall Pack Trial 2016

Burns Llama Trailblazers Llama Pack Trial
Single Trial for Basic Level
Friday, September 30th, 2016
Burns, Oregon

Sanctioned by: Pack Llama Trial Association (PLTA)
Certifier: Anne Sheeter

This is a single day-one trial event held in the rugged backcountry of Oregon's high desert steppe. The Basic Pack Llama Trial is intended to evaluate the llama’s natural ability and to encourage participation by new and aspiring llama packers. Handlers and their llamas are judged on their skill and technique for negotiating specific tasks and obstacles that would be commonly encountered while packing.  This is not a competition as participants are evaluated against a standard not in comparison to one another.  Regardless of your level of experience, this is a great opportunity to learn, develop skills and have a wonderful  time doing it!  For more information on pack trials check out the PLTA website at programs/pack trials. For details about this pack trial see the calendar of PLTA events.
